Do you offer video encryption so that videos cannot be easily downloaded?
Video Downloading & Security in Interactr
In legacy projects, videos are played as standard MP4 files. However, projects using the latest Interactr player utilize encoded video streams, similar to how platforms like YouTube or Vimeo handle playback.
While it’s technically possible to download MP4 or YouTube videos using third-party tools, Interactr has a built-in advantage: only the currently streamed portion of the video is accessible, not the entire file.
Although we don't use encryption (to avoid negatively impacting playback speed), there’s little risk of full video downloads. That’s because download tools cannot trace every path or branch within an interactive video, making it virtually impossible to capture the entire experience.
